Founded 2019 · Mark Studer & Alex Fedotoff
Brand Builders Academy is a six-month mentorship for people building a real online brand. Coaches who run their own stores, calls almost every day, and systems you copy instead of figure out alone.
What it is
Most programs sell you a library and wish you luck. BBA is built the other way round. You get an account manager whose job is your progress, coaches who are running their own ecommerce brands right now, and a schedule of live calls you can show up to with a real problem.
The work itself is the same three things every store owner has to get right: find a product worth selling, build a store that converts, and run ads that pay for themselves. What changed is how much of it you now hand to systems instead of doing by hand.
Research with a process behind it, so you are not guessing at what to sell or testing blind.
A branded storefront built to convert, not a template with your logo dropped on top.
Paid traffic taught by people spending their own money on it this week, not last year.
Who runs it
People ask how Mark and Alex fit together. Alex built the program. Mark runs it day to day and teaches inside it. Both still operate their own ecommerce brands, which is the entire reason the material stays current.
Runs the program
Started in ecommerce in 2018 and spent nine months failing at it before anything worked. Inside BBA he runs a weekly call where he goes through members' actual store and ad numbers line by line and says what to change.
Founder
Built Brand Builders Academy in 2019 around the model he uses himself: validate a product before you commit to it, then brand it properly and give customers a real experience.
What you get
One person assigned to you whose job is that you get somewhere, not that you feel supported.
Around ten a week. Bring the problem you are stuck on and leave with the next step.
Every coach is required to be running their own ecommerce brand. No career course-sellers.
The AI workflows the team uses internally, handed over so you can run them yourself.
Over a thousand members who are actively building. Ask at 11pm, get a real answer.
Long enough to get through the part where nothing is working yet.
Who it's for
Who it's not for
The basics
Entry is by application, and most applications are turned down. If it is not a fit, the team says so on the call rather than selling into it.
